Brave Futures is a specialist support service for children and young people upto the age of 18 years who have experienced sexual abuse. They work throughout Suffolk and Norfolk. Providing a safe place for children and young people to make sense of the confusion they feel. They give children and young people the skills and tools they need to re-build their futures, manage the trauma they have experienced and help them move from victim to survivor.
1 in 10 is a new campaign running over three months and Suffolk Sound are proud to offer our support to the campaign.
How to ask for help from Brave Futures
- Brave Futures is a service that begins after your child has disclosed being sexually abused to the police and/or social care services
- Any professional can refer you to Brave Futures and should offer this service to you when dealing with your case
- You can also ask any professional (such as your GP, teacher, social worker, school nurse, or police officer) to refer you to Brave Futures.
